# What is AI Memory?

A feature that lets an AI assistant remember details about you across separate chats, like your kids' ages or your job. Where it's offered, you can usually view, turn off or delete what it saved.

## In real work

When the assistant brought up her son's soccer schedule in a brand-new chat, Lena opened the AI memory settings and deleted what she didn't want kept.

## How is this different from Googling it?

Google gives a definition. Prompthaus pairs each term with how it shows up in standups, PRs, prompts, and design reviews. Then it quizzes you until the word sticks. One term a day on iPhone.
