# What is System of Record?

The one tool your team agrees is the official home for a kind of information, such as donors or contracts. When copies disagree, this one wins and the others get fixed to match.

## In real work

## How is this different from Googling it?

Google gives a definition. Prompthaus pairs each term with how it shows up in standups, PRs, prompts, and design reviews. Then it quizzes you until the word sticks. One term a day on iPhone.
