# What is Variant?

A named version of a component that looks or behaves differently, like a button that can be `primary`, `secondary`, or `destructive`. Variants live inside one component definition.

## In real work

Add a destructive variant to the Button. Red colors, same API as primary and secondary. All three in one component.
