Prompthaus does not upload your progress, files, or photos to Prompthaus servers.

Quiz streaks, settings, and Your Work collections are stored on your device.

Apple Intelligence powers practice grading and work insights on your iPhone when available.

You choose if Private Cloud Compute helps with large files. That runs on Apple's infrastructure, not ours.

Talking with Polly uses OpenAI, and mock interviews use xAI. Both are third-party AI services, and the app asks before sending them your voice. Details are below.

Your daily term, quiz history, practice results, and app settings live in local storage on your device.

Your Work collections (imported PDFs, code files, and similar) are saved in your iPhone's app storage. They are not copied to Prompthaus.

The home screen widget reads streak data from a shared app group on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

When you import a file or take a photo in Your Work, Prompthaus reads and analyzes it on your device to suggest terms you should understand.

Photos are processed for text and technical parts only. We do not save camera captures to disk or upload them.

If a file is too large for on-device analysis, you may choose to use Apple's Private Cloud Compute. That is optional and governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Sentence practice grading uses on-device Foundation Models when your iPhone supports them (iOS 26 and later).

Visual Intelligence and App Intents read text from your screen on device to match catalog terms.

None of this sends your sentences, files, or screen content to Prompthaus.

If you turn on daily reminders, Prompthaus schedules local notifications on your iPhone.

We do not use notifications to track you or send marketing messages.

When a teacher assigns Prompthaus activities through Apple Schoolwork, progress may be reported to the teacher via Apple's ClassKit and iCloud.

That includes time on assigned work, quiz scores, practice completion, and category progress during assignments.

Self-study outside assigned activities is not reported. Prompthaus does not host a gradebook or student profiles.

Schools manage student accounts through Apple School Manager and Managed Apple IDs.

Two Prompthaus features use third-party AI services to hold a spoken conversation. The app asks your permission, names the service, and lists what is sent before anything is shared. If you don't allow it, nothing is sent.

OpenAI (Polly in setup, Ask Polly, and growth plans): while you talk, Prompthaus sends OpenAI your voice as a live audio stream, a text transcript of what you and Polly say, and the context Polly needs to help: the answers, goals, and plan details you share, and your country or region. OpenAI uses this to understand you and reply in real time.

xAI (mock interviews and spoken fluency checks, powered by Grok): while you practice, Prompthaus sends xAI your voice as a live audio stream, a text transcript of the practice, and the role, company, and job details you are practicing for. xAI uses this to run the practice interviewer.

How it's collected: only through the microphone, only while a voice session is open, and only after you tap Allow. Prompthaus's server starts each session and does not store the audio or the transcript. Prompthaus does not keep recordings.

How it's used: only to run the conversation you started, and to fill in the answers you give (such as your path, goal, and reminder time) on your iPhone. It is not used for advertising, and neither Prompthaus nor these providers use it to train AI models.

How it's protected: OpenAI and xAI receive this data under their API business terms, which limit them to providing the service to Prompthaus, prohibit training on it, and require security protections equal to or greater than those described in this policy. They may keep it for a short period (up to 30 days) for safety and abuse monitoring, then delete it.

Your choice: you can turn either service off at any time in Settings › AI Voice. With it off, you can tap or type through Polly's questions instead, and mock interviews won't start. Your files, quizzes, and progress stay on your iPhone either way.

Polly career counselor in the Literacy Record uses on-device Apple Intelligence by default.

If you continue with Polly while online, short session metadata may be stored on Prompthaus servers to resume multi-turn guidance. Raw quiz events are not uploaded unless you explicitly opt in.

Counselor conversations may be processed by automated systems to generate responses. Do not share passwords or sensitive personal data in counselor chat.

Verified credentials you publish are available at public verify URLs and via the Agents Verify API for machine-readable attestation.

The Prompthaus marketing site uses Vercel Analytics in production to understand page views and anonymous click events such as button labels and locations.

Analytics does not receive data from the iOS app.
