PRD
Product Requirements Document. A short write-up of what you are building, who it is for, and why it matters before you spend a week in the editor.
Creative Brief
A one-sitting script for a video, post, or drop: the audience, the hook, the promise, and the ask. Creator language for the same job a PRD does for a product.
First Drop
The smallest public version you can ship to real people: a few videos, a waitlist page, or a rough tool. The creator analog of an MVP: post before it is perfect.
Scope Cut
The deliberate choice to remove features, scenes, or pages so the first version can ship this week.
API Key
A secret string a service gives you so your app or agent can call it. Treat it like a login: do not paste it in a public repo, a caption, or a screenshot.
Access Token

Creator Stack
The tools your content business actually needs to run: editor, design app, host, newsletter, and payment. The creator analog of dependencies.
Ship Checklist
A short pre-publish list: link works, captions on, secrets not in the recording, backup saved, and the ask is visible.
Hook Test
Trying different openings, thumbnails, or posting times, then doubling down on what holds attention. The creator analog of iteration.
AI Budget
The monthly spend you allow for model calls, image gens, and editing agents. The creator analog of a token budget: coins the AI spends to generate.
Winning Variant
The version of a hook, page, or offer that beat the others on a metric you named in advance.
Thumbnail Test
Shipping two or more cover images for the same video or page and keeping the one that earns the click.
Members Area
A logged-in space where paying or invited people watch, download, or comment. Often backed by a hosted auth product; Play's dictionary used Supabase as the picture of this.
Waitlist
A list of people who asked to be first in line before the product or drop is public.
Distribution Channel
A place you repeatedly send work: a platform, newsletter, or community. One channel you own beats five you rent and ignore.
Content Calendar
A dated plan of what ships when, so publish is a habit instead of a panic.
Paid Community
A members area plus a price: people pay to stay, not only to watch one video.
Creator Offer
The named thing people can buy: a cohort, a template pack, a members month. Clearer than 'support me.'
Usage Cap
A hard limit on generations, seats, or exports so the AI budget and the host bill stay predictable.
Seed Audience
The first people who will actually try the drop: friends, waitlist, or a room at a hackathon. Not a fantasy follower count.
Launch Window
The hours or days when you actually post, demo, and sit with the audience. Treat it as a calendar event, not a vibe.
Platform Risk
The chance a rented feed, login, or store changes the rules and cuts your reach or payout.
Retention Loop
A reason to come back: a weekly drop, a critique, or a members live. Acquisition without a loop is a leaky bucket.
Audience Insight
A specific thing you learned from comments, waitlist replies, or members that changes the next brief.
